Invicta watch group

Invicta was founded in 1837 in La Chaux-de-founds, Switzerland by Raphael Picard. Picard made a considered choice in La Chaux-de-Fonds as his base of operations, as it is well located for trade, being close to the Swiss border with France, and known for its watchmaking and lace industries and expertise. La Chaux-de-Fonds is also home to a number of other famous watch brands, including Movado, Omega, TAG Heuer and Gallet. The International Watchmaking Museum (Musee International d'Horlogerie) is also in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Picard made a deliberate name selection in "Invicta," which means "invincible" in Latin. The name proved to be prophetic, as Invicta watches apparently achieved instant sales success. Buyers lauded the quality of the Invicta watches, which were considered to be on a par with various name-brand watches, but cost substantially less. Picard thereby achieved the goal he had set out to meet when he established his watchmaking business.

During the 1970s, Invicta faced stiff competition from the rise of quartz watches. Although Invicta watches were priced reasonably for buyers in search of a top-quality product, quartz watches were something new, and far cheaper by comparison. Reportedly there was a point when Invicta came close to ceasing production. But With the invincibility that was the company's trademark philosophy, Invicta found a way to turn its fortunes around by creating watches made with rare materials as well as its customary high standard of craftsmanship. One example is the Limited Edition Subaqua NOMA, which features a meteorite stone dial. The Invicta brand acquired a following among collectors too. For men there is the Invicta Signature Limited Edition Pave Diamond Pro Diver, and for women, the Invicta Women's II Collection Limited Edition Diamond Two-Tone Watch, among others.

President and CEO  Eyal Lalo
Eyal Lalo, President and CEO of The Invicta Watch Group, comes by his passion for watches and horology honestly. Born in Central America and raised in the United States, Eyal carries with him three generations of strong watch-making tradition. Having spent much of his childhood beside his father and grandfather at the family’s manufacturing and distribution centers, Eyal grew up learning and experiencing the watch-making business from every angle.

Invicta was originally founded in 1837 with the belief that high quality, luxury timepieces and affordable pricing did not have to be mutually exclusive. After recognizing a need in the modern market, Eyal reintroduced the Swiss brand in 1991; by staying true to its 150- year-old originating principle, Invicta has since become an innovative leader praised by industry experts, savvy consumers, and discerning collectors.

Since the launch of the wildly popular Lupah timepiece in 2002, Invicta Watch Group now boasts an impressive 20 collections.  Eyal’s hands-on approach to every aspect of the manufacturing process ensures a level of quality that other watch companies are hard-pressed to match. Always rebelling against the status-quo and taking bold chances to achieve new industry precedents, Invicta has become an industry force, much to the delight of its ever-growing allegiance of watch enthusiasts. Under Eyal’s leadership, Invicta has quickly developed a dynamic reputation synonymous with excellence, diversity, and cutting edge prowess.

  3. Hello,

My name is Keith Ferrell and I live in SC. My father recently passed leaving my mother and I a pretty healthy watch collection. We are interested in selling this collection but I know very little about watches. There are roughly 10 brands represented in this collect but the collection is mostly Invicta. The collection overall is large, roughly 700 watches. I have just finished transferring my fathers info from his personal notebook to a spreadsheet. The only issue is that he did not use model numbers but a few times. He mostly used Brand, Description, movement # , Limited edition number and what he paid.

He was an incredibly sharp business man and collector and he was able to secure these watches for way below market value.

I am not a collector and would like to move this collection. Is there any way your organization could help me find people interested in this collection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Keith Ferrell

  4. The REAL history of Invicta, not the invicta watch group which does not manufacture anything except lies.

How about those fake diamonds, fake sandstone dials, fake history, fake Russian diver invention. This list of lies by this company and the CEO, all well documented are endless it seems. How about those $50,000 in watches you gave to soldiers which were worth about $2500 since Evinlive was selling them at less than $100.

  5. With a turnover of around 150 million francs, the Sector Group is one of Italy's leading sports watch suppliers. Represented in around 50 countries, it also sells famous brands such as Philip Watch, Chronostar and the collection of watches designed by Roberto Cavalli. Mode, Invicta and Lucien Rochat are among the other brands on its roster.

  9. DO NOT purchase INVICTA watches!!! They called me to tell me they lost my $1000 watch. I paid the shipping fee to have my watch repaired and they lost it. The manager, Vanessa, called mall security on me when I asked her for her managers information so I can file a formal complaint. This brand is the worst to deal with as far as service, and per all the reviews.. the quality isnt that great either... so right now i have no watch and had to search who to file a complaint to. the local 954 921 2444 just rings.

I've also been trying to reach a supervisor within your company and have them call me back if someone could do that it would be greatly appreciate it. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed by the situation I bought my first Invicta watch 20 years ago big fan of the product. Very disappointed in a customer service or the lack thereof extremely frustrating.
